Session 1: Tea Leaves – Where is Government Programming Heading in Ontario?

Program evaluations across Canada seem to be showing a consistent message: Government employment programs are leaving the most marginalized behind. In the era of “Open Data”, how can your organization best prepare for what is sure to come?

In this hour, we will take a strategic and empathic look at program delivery and business intelligence, looking at the some of the trends across Canada and what the tea leaves are saying about policy direction in Ontario.

Session 2: Purposeful Practice

Whether you are an Employment Practitioner, a Literacy Practitioner, or a Case Manager, your field of practice is evolving. In this hour, we will explore the current state of our practice in Ontario and consider what the research suggests is necessary to move our practice forward.
